Privacy Policy
Last updated September 24, 2026
The short version: we collect what we need to run Creatrr — your email, the shoots and songs you create, and your plan. Your files are private to your account. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your card number. We don't sell your data, and there are no ads.
Who we are
Creatrr (“Creatrr,” “we,” “us”) is a shot-planning web app for music content, run by Gavin Geddes in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Questions about this policy go to hello@creatrr.co.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our sign-in provider; we can't see them.
- What you create: shoots, songs and audio files, song parts, shot lists, reference images, links, notes, take ratings and location tags.
- Billing details: your plan, subscription status and billing dates. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by Creatrr.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting providers log basic request information such as IP address, browser type and time of visit, to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To run Creatrr: sign you in, store and sync your shoots and songs across your devices, and enforce your plan's storage.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To email you about your account, such as sign-up confirmation, password resets and billing notices.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We don't sell your personal information, share it for advertising, or use your songs or files for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
Where your data is stored
We use a small number of trusted providers to run Creatrr. Each only gets what it needs:
- Supabase — accounts, sign-in, your shoots and your uploaded files, stored in the United States.
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
- Vercel — hosting for this website.
- Google Fonts — typefaces on our home page, which may receive your IP address when the page loads.
Your uploaded files sit in private storage. Only your signed-in account can read them, and our servers enforce that on every request.
On your device
Creatrr stores information in your browser so it can keep you signed in, remember settings like light or dark mode, and keep copies of your songs and shoots for use without signal. You control song downloads in the app's account settings, and signing out removes Creatrr's data from that device. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content while your account is open. If your subscription ends, your shoots stay in your account so you can come back to them. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your content and personal information within 30 days, except records we're required to keep for tax or legal reasons (such as payment records held by Stripe).
Your choices and rights
- Access and export: you can view everything in the app, and download a backup of any shoot from within it.
- Correction: you can edit your content at any time.
- Deletion: you can delete shoots and songs yourself, or email us to delete your whole account.
- Billing: manage or cancel your subscription from the app.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, in California or the European Union). Email hello@creatrr.co and we'll help.
Security
Connections to Creatrr are encrypted, files are stored privately per account, and access to our systems is limited. No service can guarantee perfect security, but we take care to protect what you trust us with — including unreleased music.
Children
Creatrr isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and let account holders know by email or in the app.
